1. The company EM Syndicates
Ltd referred to herein as "The Managers" create and manage syndicates to play the Euro Millions Game.
2. Members may join a syndicate by paying a membership fee and in doing so
agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which form a contract between
The Managers and the member.
3. EURO MILLIONS GAME.
The Euro Millions Game is operated as an independent lottery in a number of
European countries with a shared prize fund and common draw. The draw takes place every
Friday in Paris. The minimum starting Jackpot is 17 million euros. If
this is not won it rolls over to be added to the prize fund for the following
draw and continues to roll over until it is won. Participants must select 5 main numbers in the range 1-50 and
two additional Lucky Star numbers in the range 1-12. To win the Jackpot all seven
numbers must match those drawn. There are 13 levels of cash prizes.
4. PLAYING IN A SYNDICATE
Players joining the syndicate system will be placed in a syndicate of
59 members. A syndicate manager will be appointed who will buy 48 tickets every
week 24 in the Tuesday's draw and 24 in the Friday's draw. He will do this in his own name and
will select the numbers on each ticket. He will notify members of the numbers
selected and provide regular reports on the syndicate performance.
The tickets will be purchased from Loterias y Apuestas del Estado.
5. PAYMENT OF SYNDICATE FEES
Members are charged a weekly fee to play in a syndicate. The fee is payable
every 4 or 10 weeks in advance to pay for membership of
the syndicate for the following 4 or 10 week playing period. Payment of this membership subscription
guarantees the member a proportional share in any prizes gained by the
syndicate manager from the tickets played in every draw which takes
place during the playing period to which the member subscribed.
Membership fees paid for any playing period are not refundable once
the first draw in the playing period has taken place. However if the
membership is cancelled 24 hours prior to the first draw in the
playing period membership fees paid for that playing period will be
refunded in full.
6. FAILURE TO PAY SYNDICATE FEES
It is every members responsibility to ensure that his membership
fees are fully paid prior to the commencement of a playing period. A
member will have no claim to any winnings gained from any
Euromillions draw which occurred while his membership fees were
unpaid or in arrears. It is not the responsibility of the Managers
to advise the Member that his membership fees are unpaid. In order for the syndicate to continue to operate without disruption the
Managers will find substitute members to pay for and take up any
7. ONLINE ACCOUNT
The Managers will provide every member with a personal online
account in which all cash prizes will be shown. Members will
be given a Username and Password to view this account. Withdrawals
may be made at any time by means of a simple instruction by email.
8. PAYMENT OF PRIZES
Following every draw the syndicate manager will collect any prizes he has gained
from the draw.Any state taxes which apply will be deducted and the balance will be divided
equally amongst the 59 members. Each member share will be payed into his personal online account.
All prizes will remain in a members online account until a withdrawal
request is received by email. Any unclaimed prizes remaining in a
members account for more than 3 years after cancellation of
membership will be forfeited and may be retained by the management
company at the company's discretion.
10. CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP
Members may cancel membership at anytime by notifying us by email. We
will acknowledge this request and cease to collect syndicate fees.
Membership fees which have been collected and used for stake money
will not be refunded and the membership will cease at the end of the
playing period to which the member last subscribed.
Members must be 18 years or over.
(a) The Managers are responsible for the purchase of
24 tickets in every Euro Millions Game draw and for the collection and equal
distribution to members of all proceeds received equal distribution to members of all winnings after tax.
(b) The Managers will be responsible only for the distribution to members of
proceeds received. If for any reason expected proceeds are not received, there
will be no obligation for the Managers to make any payments in respect of such
